Tri-C student, Hallana Beck, enjoyed a summer study abroad program at the Université Laval, in Montreal, Quebec. She participated in a challenging French language immersion program which included coursework in phonetics, oral and writing comprehension. Hallana enjoyed connecting with other students from all over the world. Reflecting on her experience in Quebec City, Hallana said, “It was absolutely gorgeous, the architecture was amazing and their culture is so rich.”
Hallana will return to Tri-C this Fall, where she is concurrently enrolled at Case Western Reserve University through the Cleveland Humanities Collaborative. As an Associate of Arts student, Hallana plans to transfer after achieving her associates degree and will major in Art History. Aligning with her career goals, she is thrilled to start working at the Cleveland Museum of Art as a Student Guide this school year.
