In July 2017, the Cleveland Humanities Collaborative, along with CWRU’s Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities, hosted a Summer Faculty Seminar titled “Carl B. Stokes and Black Political Power in Cleveland: A 50-Year Retrospective.” Dr. Avigail Oren of The Metropole, the official blog of the Urban History Association, visited the seminar for a day to observe and to interview participants.
